Happy to be back.> Let me start off saying how sorry I am for not posting over the last few weeks. I had injured my back and was in the position where I was in so much pain that I couldn’t, sit, stand or lie for more than a few moments. To make matters worse I did it in bed. That in itself could have made it worthwhile but in my case, there was no involvement of swinging on chandeliers, or jumping off ward robes. All I did was roll over in bed and that was the end of me for over three weeks. I also was unable to play as it is very hard to have the presence of a Master when you walk around like Quasi Modo. This brings me to my topic for today. What is the correct presence a Master has to display to get the respect of slaves? This is quite hard as everyone is turned on by different things. Last weekend I was talking to a gay friend on a related topic and we found we both admitted to having at some point a totally unreasonable fixation on someone who normally wouldn’t get considered. Fortunately, these tend to be short lived but never the less totally mystifying. I have noticed most Masters seem to be older than the slave.

This is understandable I think as most people go through their lives conditioned to respect their elders and most authority figures tend to be older. There is however also a group of powerful men who tend to be older and who get sick of always being in charge and like to just be told what to do by someone else. Most Masters also seem to be big men however I have seen some quite ferocious small Masters who brought fear and awe to their slaves. Most seem to have big penises however once again you occasionally find one less than hung. Most are tops but not all as there are a few who dominate by riding the sausage from the top while the slave is on his back. Most Masters seem to dress in a very manly way with lots of leather, metal studs and denim but not necessarily all the time and some not at all. I have seen a couple of Masters who dress in normal street clothes. The attitude also seems to have some variation. Most display a strict, unfriendly and slightly scary persona however not all. I know an Asian Master who is quite friendly and easy to talk to but it doesn’t stop him from being strict and demanding. This is very common when the Master and slave are also in a relationship. The boyfriend slave has to be compliant but you have to be a bit more normal in your day to day workings as you also have to deal with day to day activities. So I suppose it is hard to be very precise in describing the requirements of being a Master. A couple of things are clear however. Masters must always be consistent you can’t wobble between personas. I think Masters need to be intelligent and creative. You can’t keep serving up the same agenda and expect the slave to hang around. You have to be proficient in your kink play. You need to be able to confidently tie someone up, understand dog training, know how to get in and out of rubber etc. The slave needs to feel safe with you and trust you. Above all the slave must look up to you as being better.
